Sasha's Birthday Cake:-)

Sasha's theme was "Bedtime Stories" I had a really fun time creating this cake.
Next time I would do a different headboard. I wanted to take it off but everyone said to leave it. It took me a long time to do it, I hope when I take course III, I will learn some shortcuts.

Yes I fixed the broken A with a new one. It looks really crooked but it the way I took the pic.

This has been really fun for me because I know Sasha won't see the imperfections I see, she will just see it's cute. That is what is so special about children they just see the wonder and beauty of things. I think we all could learn from a child. I love you so much Sash, I hope your birthday is filled with sweetness just like you:-)

Graduated Course 1!!!

Ku'uipo with her teacher (Barbara). I wish I would have got a better pic of the cake, it had roses. Ku'uipo gave it to her primary teacher:-)
I was so proud of the kids roses are really hard to do. They all received a certificate for course one and will start course two next week. Kaili already has her first cake order, now we can call her a professional lol.

Kee'Onu loves it, thank goodness for "Cake Boss" boys feel it is OK to cake decorate:-)

Ipo doing her roses.

I was a little worried about the teacher, she didn't seem like a kid person but she warmed up and I think she enjoyed them.

Cupcake Bouquets:-)

A lot of you know I love to make cupcakes for people. My grandkids in their cake decorating class had to do cupcakes, so I had extras and wanted to do something fun and found cupcake bouquets on the Internet. I just had to make it. I can't wait to teach my achievement day girls:-)

" Cake Boss" Move Over!!

I put the kids into cake decorating classes, and they LOVE IT!! My really good friend Cindy taught me how to decorate cakes when I was young and it has been such a blessing. I use to do all my kids and friends cakes, but I haven't done it for a very long time. I knew I needed practice when I made Brittnie's birthday cake this year, when the guys were thinking it was one thing and the girls thinking it was something else (I think it was embarrassing when Jason's dad thought I would make something like that LOL) I'm sure you can guess what they both were guessing it was. IT WAS A BIG CUPCAKE!!
Sash was too young to take the class, so I let her do her own cake at the house.

I can't believe how quickly they caught on. Great job Kaili!!

They have these boards they practice on. It takes a lot of strength to use the right amount of pressure.

Ku'uipo was so excited to get started. I can't express my gratitude enough to Don for all the hard work he puts in so I'm able to enjoy the things I do in this life. I love you so much:-)

Sasha's B-Day Invitations

This little girl will be turning 6 on Aug 3rd, wow where did the time go. Sasha told me she wanted to have a bedtime story birthday. Well I thought this will be fun 12 little girls staying overnight, Brittnie will love this LOL!! Then Sasha told me about the movie "Bedtime Stories", well for those of you that know me well know that I really only watch 30 min. shows, needless to say I haven't seen it. I had Sasha bring it over and I with my ADD sat and kind of watched it with her. I'm having so much fun planning her party with her.
Don wanted me to blog the invitations I made for Sasha, I wasn't going to, but he has said it more then once LOL. It makes me so happy that Don, supports me in all I do, I didn't think he would care about invitations, I think he happy I'm doing it for Sasha.

This is the front of the invitation:-)

This is in the inside, the polka dot lifts up like a blanket:-)

This is the information that is under the polka dot blanket, I had to cover the address & phone numbers, well if I were Stac I would have left it (family joke) LOL!!
I haven't done crafty things for a long time, but for about the last 2 months all these fun thing keep coming to mind. Well now I know why I just got called to be "Achievement Day Leader" I was sooo happy (I get the brand new ones, 8 year olds). I have had this call about 10 or so years ago and was really sad when I was released.

Riverton Parade:-)

Sasha & Ki'Aja waiting for the parade:-))
This picture is so sweet of Kya & Kevin's dad Kenny. Love the hat:-)

Maria (Don's brother's wife), Ben, and Kya. Ben just loved Kya!!

Kee'Onu, Ke'Lao and kind of Kya LOL.

The kids had so much fun playing together. I love when cousins all play together, what fun memories:-)

Wow, I remember blogging this last year and that went by fast. This is Kaili, Noelle(our Niece), and Ku'uipo. They were all born within 13 days of each other.

Sasha and Ka'Lya they are so sweet. I want time to slow down.

Kaili & Ku'uipo they look so cute in their red, white & blue.

Noelle & Ben ( niece & nephew, Don's brother's kids) I really can't think of anything I love more then being with my family. My family laughs about what I named my blog (inside joke), but when I think of treasures, I think of family and friends.
