I know not a beautiful picture but I decided to post so maybe all of you that go out into the sun would think twice on going w/o sunscreen. This is basal skin cancer's mark after removal. It will look better after a few months but the scary thing is it can come back. My chin is because they removed a mole I didn't want to take a chance on getting "Melanoma". I was going to keep it a secret but why would I when I could warn people not to take chances. This has been so hard emotionally, the first question I asked after surgery when I woke up was " Do I still have a nose". I think I scared myself looking at the pics on the internet.So please wear sunscreen and make sure you put it on your babies. BTW this is the least scary of the skin cancers. I can't imagine having the others.
