No matter what we have to go through having a loving person in our lives can get us through. I heard about the earthquake and felt bad than went on with my day. I feel ashamed to say that I wasn't feeling the empathy and heartache I should have felt. I was watching the news and it hit me hard tonight, these are real people not just a sad made up show. I realized how desensitized I've become. I thought if I've become this way as a grown women than what is happening to our children. I hope I can help my grand children along with myself remember that these are real people that have hopes and dreams just like us. I know I will never look at things the same way.
