The Granite is in Yea!!!

The granite was put in today and I love it:-) We did 6cm chipped edge all the way around.
This is where the cooktop will be and the second oven, It will be arched with rock and the inside will be a backspash. This is suppose to happen on the 15th of this month, unless I misunderstood and it's the 15th of another month LOL:-)
This is the main bathroom, we still need to put the sink and faucet in it's just sitting there, along with the mirror.
The laundry also got granite, we didn't put 6cm or chipped edge in the laundry or main bath.
I love the sink, but you can't see the color very well, it's a kohler sink and the color is called black and tan. We are getting closer to having running water in the kitchen YEA!!!

My mom is 72 1/2 years young, she had this treasure hunt that she made up the riddle for the clues, the kids listened so closley. They were all able to find one!! What a blessing she has been in all our lives, Love Ya, Mom

This is where they got their back to school bags filled with school things. They all start their new school Sept. 2. I'm so excited for them.

The Looong Remodel!!!

I love the cabinets, well I should say the cabinets that are in. DID YOU SAY YOU MEASURED WRONG!!!!! Yes, that is what I heard, all the top cabinets are wrong! I knew to expect delays, but I have been without a kitchen for 4 months, but who's counting? I love the camping experience, even though I hate camping.

I finally have my shutters in. I can't wait to Eat in this dinning room. Maybe in another 2 months LOL.

This is the bear that almost attacked Don, Mike, and Kevin. The people that rescued them had to kill it. Geez, what were you guys afraid of he looks so cute and cuddly LOL!!

This is the group that went this year. They had such a great time except for hooks in the thumbs, needing stitches in the knee from the saw, oh...and did I forget almost eaten by the bear. Next time they will all be in playpens LOL !!!

This is Don's backpack that the bear tore apart. I'm so thankful that we all said our prayers to protect them, otherwise it could have been a different outcome.

I think this is what our post for the stairs will look like. As you can see we still have no working kitchen. Don leaves for Alaska Friday and the guy that is doing our granite will be going with him, so you know what that means about another month without a kitchen. Yes, feel sorry for us bring us home cooked food LOL.

Kaili & Sasha " When will it be starting Nana" We are at the last part of the parade route, so we are there for about 2 hours before we see anything.

We have been going to the Riverton parade for about 21 years, I can't believe that I have grandkids about the ages that we started taking our kids. Time goes by so quickly.
